Nothing really happened during the morning or afternoon today apart from making cinnamon rolls using puff pastry, butter, brown sugar and cinnamon sticks which I had to grind down myself. They were definitely not proper cinnamon rolls in the traditional sense but they actually tasted really good and grinding cinnamon sticks was strangely enjoyable even if it took far more effort than just buying ground cinnamon like a normal person.
The evening was spent working with St John Ambulance at Petworth Festival again, this time listening to the Jive Aces. It was a really enjoyable evening and the music was great, especially considering I was technically there to work rather than just watch everything. Nothing particularly dramatic happened which is always a good thing during an SJA shift, so most of the evening was spent listening to the music and enjoying the atmosphere.
Tomorrow Elphina is dying my hair which is probably either going to look really good or be a complete disaster with absolutely no in-between. I’m slightly nervous but mainly excited to see what colour it actually turns out, especially considering I’ve somehow trusted the kind hearted 4'8 child with bleach and my entire head of hair.
