Today was officially the last day of year 12 although I only really went into school for an hour to see one of my favourites Mr Davies. We spent the time working through my finances and trying to make sure I could actually afford everything I’ve somehow planned, including Denmark in October and Turks and Caicos at the end of the year respectively. Somehow both trips look possible which is really exciting although my bank account probably isn’t quite as excited as I am.
The main thing about today was saying goodbye to Mrs Tidbury and Mr Spinner who are easily two of my favourite teachers and have taught me for the last 6 years. It’s strange thinking that after all that time they just won’t be there anymore. They’ve both genuinely been the best and have been such a massive part of school, music and basically my entire life for the last few years. It was definitely more emotional than I expected it to be and it doesn’t really feel real yet that this whole part of school has actually finished.
